Spiders in the Woods to Play

High Reaching Solutions received an urgent call to supply a tracked spider access platform for a project in North Yorkshire.
Our new client had been let down by their original supplier who supplied a machine that was not suitable for the task and was consequently removed from the worksite. Sophie, our Platform Basket 18.90 Pro, was delivered, in position, set-up and a full familiarization of her controls and functions given within 3 hours of the initial call.
The project was to build a high level, suspended play area which included tree houses and a suspended bridge across a river. The play area was situated in woods so the ground conditions were sometimes soft and in places slightly boggy, especially after heavy rain. These conditions are not a problem for tracked spider cherrypickers as their light weight is spread over a larger area by their tracks when moving and their outriggers when in working position.
Our client was very impressed with Sophie so they also requested little Scarlett Grace, our Platform Basket 13.80 Hybrid to assist with the build.
